Hair and Beauty Students Made-up with Theatrical Course Work

Our Year 13 BTEC Hair and Beauty students have been undertaking a theatrical make-up module this term.

Our students are pleased to showcase their work, which illustrates the new skills they have learnt in make-up to create a range of looks.

During the term, students tackle casualty-style and special effects make-up, as well as make-up for performers with fantasy and period looks.

This week, students are working on old age make-up at the moment; creating an old-aged look on a younger person.

Rachel Swaby, teacher of Beauty Therapy at Salford City Academy said:

"The course is a great pathway for anyone who is interested in working in TV, Theatre or film as a make-up artist."
