Students visit business partner's headquarters to continue the scheme
Our Mosaic Mentoring group of students visited the headquarters of PZ Cussons on Monday 28th November.
The group visited long-running business partner PZ Cussons’ Agecroft headquarters for a tour and to learn more about them, visiting the factory line to see the manufacture of soap!
The Year 8, 9 and 10 students then met with their business mentors to talk more about what they had learnt through the programme.
Ramiar Shafie, Year 10, said:
“I’ve learnt a lot about job interviews and CV writing, but I’ve also been able to look at what I’m good at and research jobs which would fit my strengths – in the future, I think I’d like to be a designer.”
The students will come together for their last session in two weeks and deliver presentations to their business mentors.
Mosaic Mentoring is a scheme which aims to raise the aspirations of the students involved and provide them with the life skills to achieve in education and beyond.
