Silver Award

Academy achieves School Games Mark

We are delighted to report that Salford City Academy has achieved the Silver School Games mark for the 3rd successive year.

We look forward to celebrating our students success at our Sports and Creative Arts evening tonight.  All of the students receiving sports awards will do so due to the vast array of sporting and leadership opportunities that are accessed throughout the academic year.

The School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels.

The Mark is a retrospective award which will validates Salford City Academy’s success for the 2015-16 academic year.
