Salford City Academy supports Macmillan event

Salford City Academy held a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26th September at break in the Faith Room

Staff paid a £1 entry fee to enjoy a hot drink and a cake.

There was also a ‘Guess the number of spots on the cake’ competition.   Congratulations to the winner - Linda Rowan!

Organiser Karen Thornton said:

“Thank you to everyone who provided cakes, attended and contributed to our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thanks also to Caterlink (our catering providers) who donated the tea and coffee for this event.”

Academy Ambassadors, Samantha Mechan, Tia Merrishaw, Oliver Lefley, Precious Oladele and Chloe Ginty, supported the event collecting money on the door and serving drinks and cakes.  Well done to them!
