The Year 10 Work Experience week was a huge success yet again, with our students fantastic ambassadors for the academy.
The Year 10 Work Experience week was a huge success yet again, with our students fantastic ambassadors for the academy.
We saw a wider variety of placements this year! Some students found their placements independently and others through the Business Enterprise Salford's Veryan database.
Students spent the week at local businesses including NHS Salford Royal, Salford University's archaeology department, HMRC Tax Office and Solicitors, McDonalds, Carphone Warehouse, Salford City Reds, Soccerdome, City Airport, plus many, many more!
Our appreciation goes out to all of the employers for taking on our wonderful students and also thanks to all of the academy staff involved in making the week go so smoothly.
Mrs Burgess, Head of Careers, said: "I'm really proud of all of the students I visited on placement. All were hard at work and learning new skills in the working world."
