Congratulations to twelve of our Year 7 Maths pupils, who took first prize at the United Learning Year 7 Maths Competition on the 18th June.
Niall Loates, Amy Whittaker, Grace Green, Leo Robinson, Kyle Smith, Amir Rahman, Kai Anderson, Alana Birch, Jennifer McPhee, Ilsa Khalid, Precious Tunde-Olaitan and Dawid Wojtkowiak took part in the competition at William Hulme Grammar School. The team took on students from Manchester Academy, William Hulme Grammar School and Accrington Academy at a variety of maths games and quizzes and achieved the most points overall.
Maths teacher Mr Atcha commented:
"I am very proud of our winning Maths team. The students were brilliant and we scored far more points than the other teams."
