Salford School Games competition

On 3rd May 2017, Salford City Academy hosted a School Games KS3 Girls Dodgeball competition.

The team performed fantastically, finishing joint 3rd in the competition.

Suzanne Vickers, who runs the academy dodgeball club said:

“The team included only Year 7 students and they competed against some older teams from other Salford schools with more experience.  It was so brilliant; I was brimming with pride!”

Congratulations to Leena Ahmed, Yr7, who was unanimously voted ‘Player of the Day’ by her teammates for superb, game-changing catching. Her tactical thinking impressed too!
