Gold and Silver for Volleyball and Badminton

Congratulations to our Key Stage 4 Boys and Under 15 Girls who have played brilliantly in the Level 2 School Games this week.
Our KS4 Boys Badminton team came away from their tournament on Wednesday 13th November with a silver medal. The team of Brodie Rasal, Jack Harris, Luke Hoyle and Jack Rigby did extremely well to finish second out of 7 teams.
On Thursday 14th November, our Under 15 Girls team of Melissa Raynor, Megan Smart, Leah Nolan and Hollie Warburton competed in the School Games Volleyball tournament. The team made a convincing win and were thrilled to come away in Gold Medal position.
Mrs Nolan, School Games Organiser, said:
“A huge well done to both the Badminton and Volleyball teams for these fantastic results. The students were a credit to Salford City Academy and I am proud that they have placed so highly against other schools in Salford.”
