Professional Mentoring for Year 11 Students

A group of nine Year 11 students have started a 4-week mentoring programme with PZ Cussons employees from a number of different departments within the business.

Each student was matched specifically to one of the professionals using a questionnaire and were then introduced to their new mentor on 11th February, where they discussed what they would like to achieve from the programme.

The mentoring programme is an excellent opportunity for the Year 11 students to find out more about career choices and their options for further education, as well as finding out about the career pathways of their professional mentors.

Miss Brown, Applied Learning Administrator, said:

"This is a great project for the students to get involved in at this time, when they are thinking about their final GCSEs and what the next steps in their life will be."
