Each year at Salford City Academy, all our Year 12 and 13 Hair and Beauty students visit Manchester Central to attend the Beauty North Show.
The Beauty North Show is a professional beauty exhibition and a great opportunity for Our Year 12 and 13 Hair and Beauty students to see demonstrations and try lots of products from various make-up, skincare and nail enhancement companies.
Often at the show some celebrities are present as they represent some of the various skincare and make up companies. This year students met ‘The Only Way is Essex’ beautician Amy Childs who was showcasing her new beauty products.
Feedback from students is always positive and they look forward to this trip each year, especially to take advantage of the discounts and promotions on many of the stands! The exhibition provides a fun, interesting day and gives the students an insight into the businesses they may potentially work with in their future careers.
