Filip Continues Volleyball Success

After his fantastic achievement winning the "Sportsman of the Year" Award at the United Learning "Best in Everyone" awards in July, Filip Kaminski has continued to achieve impressive sporting success.
After his fantastic achievement winning the "Sportsman of the Year" Award at the United Learning "Best in Everyone" awards in July, Filip Kaminski has continued to achieve impressive sporting success. Filip's award recognised and celebrated his remarkable talent and achievements in volleyball since joining Salford City Academy, and he did not disappoint at his most recent national volleyball tournament.
Filip plays for Volleyball England's North Boys squad, and competed at the recent UK School Games national competition in Sheffield. On the 15th September, the North Boys played in the Final of the Games, narrowly missing out to England South and placing second out of 7 teams. Filip said, "it was the best tournament I have ever played in. It was so exciting and such an amazing feeling to be there."
Mrs Nolan, School Games Organiser, said, "I am extremely proud of Filip's progression since joining the Academy. He has a great sporting attitude, always striving to progress and compete at as high a level as he can."
