The Greater Manchester School Games saw both athletes and School Games Crew Leaders out in force at some of the most prestigious sporting venues in the North West.
After months of training and practice for both groups, they did not disappoint. Our School Games crew were responsible for officiating and media at the swimming event at Manchester Aquatics Centre.
Two v ol le yba l l t e ams represented Salford, with the U15s team having a point to prove - to retain the Greater Manchester Champions title they won last year. Filip K ami n s k i , C ame r o n Loghan, Jack Harris and Jack Rigby showed great sportsmanship in their final against Bolton and truly deserved to keep the title for another year!
Not forgetting Mo Abu Dakka, Yvan Gisingizo, Jack Cassell and Lewis Vasey who took the Bronze in the U13s title, which was only their second competition as a team.
