Students and staff alike had a fantastic afternoon at Sports Day on Wednesday 25th June.
Six academy records were broken during the day by Georgia Bravender, Alisha Roebuck and Lewis Simms in Year 7, Molly O’Neill in Year 9, Jessica Royle in Year 10 and the Year 8 Joule team for the Boys’ relay.
To round off the day, a special event was organised by PE Technician Mr Swales; the Staff v Students relay. The Sixth Form Boys team beat the Male PE Staff by a mere two seconds, with the Year 10 Girls team taking the prize over the Female PE staff with a fantastic time of 1 minute and 3 seconds. Mr Swales commented:
“Many congratulations to all competitors, in particular the record breakers.”
