Students at SCA finished the term the right way!

This half term has been jam packed with rewards and achievements.

Easter Egg Eggstravagansa, as students returned to school we wanted to focus on developing their resilience, teamwork and Confidence. We shared this with students through an Assembly. Staff have been rewarding students for demonstrating these values in lessons.  Each day one student is selected in a prize draw, whom has demonstrated resilience received a certificate and an Easter Egg.

Our Y11's have received a goody bag to welcome them back to school. Each week on a Friday afternoon, we have been celebrating the hard work of a variety of Y11 students. They have had #FuntimeFriday and have received rewards such as pizza, hot chocolate and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. We are so proud of how hard our Y11 students are working and the progress they are making.

Today was our whole school rewards event, kicking off with our rewards assembly for all year groups, celebrating achievement and progress in each subject, 100% attendance and awarding those students demonstrating our school values. There was also a variety of activities going on which each year group got involved with.

Year 7 celebrated achieving the top spot both nationally and in the UL table for Sparx, they were involved in the bush trial and building shelters! Year 8 students had the chance to watch an animal show, where we hosted a wide range of different animals came to us, including reptiles, birds, amphibians and mammals! Year 9 were involved in a time trial, working as part of teams to solve practical problems. Year 10 were involved in fitness and physical training, a chocolatier session, and some lovely hot waffles from the waffle van. Year 11 were involved in interventions throughout the day but didn't miss out on the sweet treats!
