Academy takes part in charity fundraiser

Salford City Academy held a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September at break in the Faith Room

Staff paid £1 to enjoy a hot drink and a cake.

There was also a ‘Guess the number of spots on the cake’ competition.   Congratulations to the winner - Linda Rowan!

Organiser Lucy Woodward said:

“Thank you to everyone who baked for our coffee morning and who came to eat lots of cakes! Thanks also to Caterlink (our catering providers) who donated the tea and coffee for this event.”

Academy Ambassadors Alex Morrison, Chloe Ginty, Leah Harrop and Reece Birkett did a fantastic job of supporting the event by selling cakes and serving drinks!

The academy raised £100.
