Comic Relief

As requested by the School Council, Salford City Academy held a non-uniform day on Friday 13th March in aid of Comic Relief and each Year Group's chosen charity.

We asked for a £1 donation and students and staff came in their own clothes for the day, some opting to wear something red!

We were also delighted that Year 7 baked and sold cakes for the cause in the canteen at break.

Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh students supported fundraising on the day by collecting monies from mentor groups and helping out on the cake stall at break, all as part of building their community skills for the Duke of Edinburgh award.

Grand total raised: £537.16
