Achievement Evening 2023

Thursday 13th July, we welcomed students, parents and carers to our forth annual Achievement Evening!

We had the pleasure of welcoming parents and careers, students, and governors to the Academy for our fourth annual achievement evening. For all those who were in attendance, it was a fantastic and enjoyable evening, in which there was plenty of applause, singing, smiles and laughter.

We were lucky to welcome’ Mr P’, podcaster, author and primary school teacher to speak and reflect on the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone and making the most of the opportunities that come your way. The aim of the evening was to celebrate the abundance of success of our students over the past 12 months, this included welcoming back some of our former Y11 students to celebrate their success last year. We were delighted that six of our Y11 students received a laptop for a full 5 years 100% attendance. Trophies were awarded for academic achievement, reading, sports performance, aspire, REACT values as well as unique awards for resilience, leadership and the ‘governors’ student of the year award.

It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate, and the event was made even more special this year being able to host at the academy and welcome our guests with canapes and celebration drinks prior to the ceremony. Thank you to all those who attended, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
