Adele Essue is heading to Edge Hill University after scoring a fantastic set of results.

Following a B in A Level Psychology, a B in A Level Sociology, a C in A Level English Literature and a Distinction* in BTEC Health and Social Care BTEC, Adele join the Childhood and Youth Studies course.

Adele said:

"I'm so happy; I really didn't expect to get the psychology result especially!"

With dreams of working with children either as a teacher or an international aid worker, Adele has used the Sixth Form courses and work experience to validate her ambitions.

She adds:

"I've always wanted to be a teacher and I enjoyed the opportunity of a work placement at Christ Church primary school but I learnt so much about children internationally through my A Levels that my interests and career options have broadened."

"I'm scared about university, but excited as well, especially about my first year!"
