Music

The music curriculum at Salford City Academy aims to engage and inspire pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians. This helps to increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. We believe music is an important part of our wider curriculum allowing opportunities for students to express themselves through our Aspire programme, musical ensembles, schools shows and trips and workshops. Students are actively encouraged and given the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument, from instruments used in the classroom to individual instrumental lessons with MAPAS - music service.
