On 22nd June, Salford City Academy welcomed 16 local primary schools to compete in the Primary Quadkids School Games.
The activities that took place in the event included 75m sprint, 600m run, vortex throw and long jump.
Monton Green Primary School Salford and Light Oaks Infant and Junior School were the overall winners. Both will go through to the Level 3 Primary Quadkids and will compete against all other Greater Manchester winners.
Lyndsey Nolan, School Games Co-ordinator, said:
“Congratulations to all the schools who took part, it was a fantastic day. We couldn’t have done the day without our Year 8 and 9 School Games Crew who officiated, they did a great job.”
