We were delighted to welcome The Fix Up team to the academy on Tuesday 29th March to speak to our Year 11s.
The motivational speakers Mikel Ameen and Aina More were invited to visit the academy, as we approach the summer exams, to motivate and empower our Year 11s!
The sessions aimed to equip the Year 11s for success through discussion about seizing opportunities, standing out from their peers, understanding with success comes failure, and challenging their fears.
Students then had the opportunity to think about their vision for the future because to overcome hurdles, including GCSEs, it’s beneficial to think about where they see themselves in terms of education, career, family, location etc
Alex Fair, Vice Principal Outcomes, said:
