Julia Chrzanowska celebrated great achievements at GCSE results day.

Julia joined Salford City Academy in Year 9 from Poland, with the challenge of learning English at the same time as studying at school.

Julia’s commitment paid off as she achieved 1 A* (Home Language Polish), 6 As (Maths, Core Science, Additional Science, Business, Citizenship and Geography), 4 Bs (English Literature, Further Maths, Sport, Media Studies) and 1 C (English Language).

Of her achievements, Julia said:

“I’m so proud of myself as I did my best. I got my friend to open my results and tell me if I got the grades for college, which I did! I'm most proud of my B in English Literature as I have only lived in England and learnt the language in just 3 years.”

The next part of Julia’s journey is UTC College to study BTEC TV and Film Production, and A Levels in English and Maths.

Our former Deputy Head Girl, Julia, is aiming for a career in the Media industry, with particular interest in television production and the BBC.
