Year 9 enjoyed a World of Work day at the academy on Tuesday 16th December. Volunteers from local businesses joined students to talk about their careers.
Business professionals from Greater Manchester Police, HR from Morson Engineering, Future Engineers, Davis Turner Logistics, Salford City College and more attended our networking event to talk in detail about their roles.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions about our volunteers’ daily responsibilities, their work environment, hours worked, opportunities to travel, as well as the qualifications and education route required to follow their profession.
