Year 10 students board the Key 103 Media Bus
On Tuesday 1st March, the Key 103 Media Bus visited Salford City Academy to welcome Year 10 students learn more about apprenticeships.
The aim of the day was for those showing an interest in apprenticeship programmes to learn more about the opportunities available in different sectors, levels of entry and earning potential.
Students carried out all the research and produced a range of facts and also a strap-line for an advert.
Our Year 10 students then had the chance to experience first-hand how to make a professional media advert.
Amy Barlow, Head of Careers, said:
“It was a great day for our students and they enjoyed hearing from the Apprenticeship Ambassador who provided a real world example of working in business as an apprentice; he was able to offer some fantastic advice and guidance about what employers are looking for.”
