Goodbye and Good Luck Year 11

Staff and students enjoy Leavers’ Assembly

Academy staff bid goodbye to the class of 2017 at a special Year 11 Leavers’ Assembly on Monday 19th June.

Staff and students gathered to celebrate their progress at the academy from Year 7 and wished them luck in their exam results and moving forward in their education.

Photos, as well as messages from staff, were shared and raised more than a few laughs!

Finally, after students nominated each other for a series of awards, we announced those most likely to become a millionaire, an actor and Prime Minister – amongst others. Well done to all the winners!!

Mr Evans, Head of Year 11, said:

“We do hope our Year 11s stay in touch and let us know how they get on and what path they take in life.  We wish them all the very best.”
