Students Take to the Stage

Year 11 GCSE drama exam

On Monday 25th April, our Year 11 GCSE drama students put on an extraordinary performance as part of their course.

The exam assignment brief was ‘consequences’.  The students devised their own script and production based on young offenders and the paths they take.

The group performance was live to an audience of examiners, staff, students and parents.

Danielle Sanderson, Drama Teacher, said:

“As it was a live, we asked for a supportive audience to come along to create the atmosphere of a professional performance.  They devised the piece themselves and I think it’s amazing!”

Well done to Mark Gannon, Julia Russell, Keeley Maggs, Harry Talbot, Lauren Leggott and Katie McKeown.
