Year 8 girls return lost dog, Brook, to its owner

We’re delighted to report that four of our Year 8 girls came to the rescue of a lost dog last week and returned it to its grateful owner.

On 11th March, Carys Monaghan, Ester Boli, Ines De Silva and Sommer Metcalfe found little dog Brook on the way to school.

The girls took it upon themselves to return him home.

Owner Lisa Reed called the academy to praise all four students as her son was devastated to find that their dog Brook had escaped from their garden.

Lisa said:

“I would like to praise the behaviour, politeness and kindness of these pupils; they are a credit to the academy and their parents."

Well done Carys, Ester, Ines and Sommer!
