Year 7 Academy Ambassadors

Celebrating our new school representatives

We invited our new Year 7 Academy Ambassadors to a celebration lunch and presentation on Tuesday 9th February.

The students who were successful in their application to become an Academy Ambassador joined organiser Karen Thornton, Head of Year Andrew Owen and Principal Helen Mackenzie in the Faith Room to be presented with their official certificate and badges.

They all discussed the importance of their role within school as well as representing Salford City Academy at school and community events, meeting prestigious visitors, taking part in interviews, and talking to prospective parents and pupils at Open Evening.

Business Manager Karen Thornton said:

“It’s wonderful to welcome our Year 7 ambassador cohort to join the team.  The current ambassadors have been representing the academy well and I know that our Year 7s will meet the same standards.”

Our Academy Ambassadors are:

Year 7:  Reece Birkett, Paige Hamby, Leah Glascoe, Eloise Hughes, Megan Dixon, Chloe Finnegan, Alexander Morrison and Sinead Ryan.
