Homework is a valuable part of your education. It helps you to consolidate your learning and explore your subjects further. The timetable below shows you when you will be set homework and when it has to be handed in. There are some useful links in this Student Work Area of the website.

Your homework will be set on Microsoft Teams and you will complete some of it through the online platforms listed below. This short video provides further details.

  • Key Stage 3 - 30-45 minutes per night 

  • Key Stage 4 - 1-2 hours per night 

 

Key stage 3:  

- Core subjects English, Maths and Science to be set a minimum of one homework per week  

- Subjects with two or more lessons per week (e.g. MFL) to be set one homework per fortnight 

 

Key Stage 4:  

- All GCSE examinable subjects to set a minimum of one homework per week.
