Salford City Academy was last inspected on Tuesday 21^st and Wednesday 22^nd April 2026 and achieved a strong standard judgment in one area and met expected standard in all other areas. We are extremely proud of the outcome, with the report recognising the academy's many strengths and the unique qualities that make our school such a special place to learn.

Culture of Care and Belonging

There is a clear sense of belonging and care for pupils. Relationships between staff and students are warm and respectful.

Students also support their community via 'The Hub', which leaders have developed to give students opportunities to gain leadership opportunities and experiences of working life, such as undertaking work in primary schools.

Leaders promote an open culture where safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, helping students feel safe and protected.

Students enjoy lessons, approaching them with positive attitudes that keep classrooms calm and focused.

They behave well in lessons and at social times, confident that staff handle issues like bullying quickly and effectively.

Ambition and Personal Development

Leaders have constructed an ambitious personal development programme, all students will participate in and benefit from opportunities they may not otherwise experience.

Preparing for the Future
