Admissions Information

We are delighted that you are considering Salford City Academy for your child. All admissions to Salford City Academy are processed by Salford City Council. To apply for a place, you will need to complete the online application form.

Application for places can only be made through the Salford Admissions Team – please telephone 0161 909 6508 to request a mid-term application form or click here. If a place is available, they will contact you. If the year group is full, you will be notified, and if you consent, you will be placed on our waiting list in accordance with the admissions criteria. 

Parents/carers whose application for a place is unsuccessful, have the right to appeal the decision. This must be expressed in accordance with the Schools Admissions Criteria.  If parents/carers wish to appeal, they should contact The Schools Admission Team at the below address or online here.

The application process for secondary applications for September 2027 opens on 1 September 2026 and closes on 30 October 2026.

• Offer date: 1 March 2027
• Appeals to be submitted by: 31 March 2027
• Appeals submitted by 31 March to be heard: 6 May to 21 June 2027
