As part of its ongoing commitment to the Eccles community, Salford City Academy is proud to partner with the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) to deliver essential food boxes to families in need.
Through the school’s Community Hub, these food boxes—packed with a generous selection of staple items—are made available to anyone in the local area who may be struggling. They can be collected discreetly from the school reception between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, with no questions asked.
New deliveries are announced on the Salford City Academy – Community Hub Facebook page, ensuring the community stays informed and can access support as needed.
Community Hub lead Sarah Johnson shared,
“Since we started offering the food boxes earlier this year, the response has been overwhelming. The need is real, and these boxes are making a meaningful difference. We’re incredibly thankful to be working with RRT, a fantastic organisation doing vital work for communities across the UK.”
