The special, in-person ceremony was held at Boughton House in Kettering, Northamptonshire on Friday 19^th June.

The Best in Everyone Awards is an annual prize giving event, designed to mark the exceptional achievements of students and staff in United Learning schools – of which our academy is a part – across the country, as well as the contributions they make to their school and wider communities.

In taking home this prestigious prize, Andy was recognised for his exceptional dedication and commitment to our school and the unwavering support he provides to staff and leaders. Andy is a highly active member of our community and can often be found at academy events, supporting staff and students or helping with practical tasks. He plays a fundamental role in ensuring SCA continues to go from strength to strength.

Speaking of his win, School Governor of the Year Andy, said:

“I am honoured to have been named the United Learning School Governor of the Year. I have only been at the school for eighteen months, but I have genuinely loved helping our students and staff be their best. This award means a great deal.”

A bespoke video announcing Andy’s award win has also been shared across United Learning’s social media platforms to coincide with the in-person ceremony, enabling our wider school community to join in the festivities.
