Two of our Year 10 students, Chitalu and Yusau, represented the school at the Speak Out Challenge Regional Final in Manchester, delivering inspirational speeches and showcasing exceptional confidence, communication skills and dedication.
We are incredibly proud of Year 10 students Chitalu and Yusau, who represented our school at the Speak Out Challenge Regional Final at the Contact Theatre in Manchester on 14 July.
The students earned their place at this prestigious event through their commitment to developing their public speaking skills and their ability to communicate ideas with confidence and impact. Ahead of the main event, they took part in a series of oracy workshops, helping them refine their speeches and further strengthen their presentation skills.
Taking to the stage in front of an audience, both Chitalu and Yusau delivered thought-provoking and inspirational speeches that reflected their hard work, creativity and dedication. Their performances demonstrated the confidence and communication skills that have enabled them to reach such an impressive stage of the competition.
The event provided an unforgettable experience, giving students the opportunity to celebrate their achievements alongside other talented young speakers from across the region. The evening concluded with congratulations from the Lord Mayor of Manchester, making the occasion even more memorable.
We are immensely proud of Chitalu and Yusau for their achievements and the outstanding way they represented our school. They are fantastic ambassadors for our academy.
